I have known Linda for well over 20 years and we share many similar beliefs about
the stability of our perceived reality. Last week, shortly after Hurricane Sandy
hit New York, I spoke with several friends and family in the Metropolitan New York
City area. They were having a heck of a time. My cousin, Amy, and her family were
rushing out the front door as water was coming in the back door. As I write this,
my cousin, Barry, on Long Island, is still without electricity, gas for his car,
and food. My girlfriend’s daughter had to flee New York City because of knee deep water on the lower East Side.
As Hurricane Sandy struck, I picked up the phone and called my old friend, Linda Howe. We hadn't spoken for almost a year. I said, "Do you believe this?" She said, "Wow!"
I left New York City in 1985 for the mountains of northern Vermont. In 1995, I moved to the Finger Lakes region of New York State. I saw what I and some others believe were the Earth changes coming. In the past several years, we have seen Hurrican Katrina, the devastation of the island of Haiti, and now the East coast of the United States has gotten a wake-up call.
Over the past eleven years, I have been developing a 115 acre subdivision, tied together with over five miles of roads, just outside of Ithaca, NY. I have built several high end homes and cabins. Presently, the property is operating successfully as a private hotel.
